Resume
Background:
I was born in a close family. Until now, we still would gather together to have a fun every year. In my family, all of us have a high enthusiasm for travels, maybe with some special genes, I think. For some beautiful views, we even would get up at mid-night to appreciate the beauty. Moreover, when I still was a senior high school student, we even achieved our common dream---cycling around Taiwan in nine days (no matter old or young). To others, we may be called “a crazy family”; however, we indeed enjoy and are proud of it. Above all the main point is to explain why I choose tourism management to be my major.
Besides, more than half of all of family members are Christian. Mom and aunt are committed to social welfare through church, like caring for the vulnerable, proving supplies for them, and be a guidance counselor in schools. By them (Mom and aunt), I can follow their steps to learn to take care people who surrounded me and need my help. After that, I begin to have courage to talk with strangers and I become a very outgoing person.
Learning portfolio:

I had felt pretty upset and unconfident in that period with my specific background, I was always different from my classmates. Moreover, I am the firstborn. In my childhood, I had to take up the responsibility for myself and my younger brothers, especially in the moving time. However, it also trained me to have an independent personality. I could do a lot of things without others’ help or company. And that is why my friends admire me.
Activity participation:
Though I got lots of chance to try to do everything I want, parents never gave me any restriction and gave me to join amount of activities such as art class, chorus, sympathy band, recorder team, church band, volleyball team, yoga club, etc.. Besides, at every summer vacation, I would participate in several summer camps. After I graduated from senior high school, I began to be a team leader in camps. At that time, I had to learn to plan the activities, liven up the atmosphere (according to different age) and to take care of every team members. Furthermore, I am a youth worship group leader, Champion social welfare personnel (Non-first-line staff, just marking for the students’ counseling homework).
