服務內容與學習要點:
One of the main things I reflected on in this course was how difficult it can be to approach strangers in a foreign country. Even though I am in Taiwan, I realized that without speaking Chinese, it’s very hard to communicate what I am doing and what I need. This made the activity less efficient and more time-consuming, which I consider one of the challenges I faced.
Another issue was that in Taiwan, receipts are treated like lottery tickets, so asking people to give away something of potential value made me feel uncomfortable. As I mentioned, since I can’t speak Chinese well, I couldn’t explain the reason behind collecting receipts, which made it even harder. At times, I even questioned whether what I was doing seemed too pushy or inappropriate.

心得隨寫:
I realized that I must not take lightly the trust people placed in me by giving something so valuable to them to a student they don’t even know. This experience taught me the importance of acting with responsibility. Through this course, I’ve come to understand that I should approach such situations with sincerity and care.
In Taiwan, receipts have actual monetary value due to the lottery system, so I’m truly grateful to those who were willing to entrust me with something so meaningful. I feel a strong sense of responsibility to treat their trust with respect.
In Japan, receipts don’t hold the same kind of value, so this experience felt very fresh and eye-opening to me. I’m sincerely thankful to everyone who gave me their receipts.
